Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) Recording For Kroehler Buildings
What is a Historic American Buildings Survery (HABS)?
The Historic American Buildings Survey (HABS) is the Federal Government's oldest preservation program that began in 1933 to document America's architectural heritage. A HABS recording combines drawings, history, and photography to produce a comprehensive, interdisciplinary record. The documentation ranges in scope depending largely upon the level of historic significance and complexity of a site, structure, and / or object.
